SaskEnergy is seeking a Senior Technical Assistant to join our team! The Senior Technical Assistant reviews applications affecting facilities owned and/or operated by TransGas and issues appropriate permits and legal agreements, which ensure activities affecting the operation company pipelines and facilities are conducted in a consistent and safe manner and in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements to protect the integrity of these facilities. The Senior Technical Assistant provides technical support to internal and external customers regarding permit and agreement requirements and maintains accurate and current departmental records to reflect the addition of new pipelines and facilities and other operating activities.

Qualified Applicants Will Possess

- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Engineering Technology Diploma (Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, CAD or Structural), from a recognized institution, Land Analyst or Land Administration Certificate or Diploma, Business Administration Certificate or Diploma, SR/WA professional Designation.
- Eligible for membership with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPS) is considered an asset.
- Valid class 5 driver's license.

Or

- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Five (5) years experience involving the application of technical theories and practices of work associated with natural gas system design, construction, operations or pipeline integrity.
- Valid class 5 driver's license.
