Description

Southern Plains Co-op is hiring for a Meat Cutter position for our Carlyle Food Store.

What you'll do:

To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.

To ensure outstanding, courteous customer service is provided at all times to all internal and external customers.

To be dependable for all scheduled shifts

To ensure proper meat preparation (for example, cutting and trim standards traying, wrapping and pricing and also preparation of sausage, hamburger patties and other in store made product) is to meat department standards.

To ensure that the fresh case, frozen case, smoked case and all spot island merchandisers are filled and merchandised to Meat department standards.

To be responsible for receiving, inspecting and storage or merchandise.

To adhere to association policies and procedures relating to the maintenance, sanitation, and safety of all association assets.

To adhere to all food safety and all other safety requirements and procedures.

To be familiar with and adhere to Southern Plains Co-operative policies and procedures.

Previous experience in meat cutting preferred but not mandatory.
