This position reports to the Manager of Public Relations and Marketing and is expected to interact with program managers, and administrative staff as well as external clients. In conjunction with the Manager, the Recruitment and Development Coordinator implements effective strategies to recruit students, provide information on training opportunities for business and industry in the region, and generates scholarship sponsorship. This position also researches and writes proposals for new sources of funding.
The Recruitment and Development Coordinator will promote Cumberland College to prospective students, employers, and donors. The role involves extensive travel to the various communities promoting the College and meeting with potential students and clients. The Recruitment and Development Coordinator must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in a related discipline is preferred. However, a diploma and equivalent experience may be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with successful recruiting and marketing experience.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check will be required.
