Description

Working with the Technical Services, Development group at the corporate office in Saskatoon, you will provide technical support in the area process engineering and process controls for the northern Saskatchewan operations and other corporate groups. You will be primarily focused on the following:
- Utilize and maintain Camecos Osisoft PI data system (both developing applications and dashboards for sites, and system upkeep)
- Support and grow Camecos Control Loop Optimization program, which measures and manages performance of industrial control loops at the northern Saskatchewan mining and milling sites.
- Support capital project development by performing data analysis, design calculations, and other process engineering deliverables
- Support process sampling campaigns and on-site process optimization test work at the northern Saskatchewan mining and milling sites

The successful candidate will work a term of approximately sixteen months (May 2023 through August 2024). This position is located in Saskatoon with frequent trips to the northern Saskatchewan sites.

You will be entering your third or fourth year as a university student specializing in chemical, process, metallurgical and/or computer engineering or a related field.

Interviews will take place in February/March 2023.  Students will be notified if they are selected for an interview.
