Job Description:

Reporting to the Plant Manager and Lead Operators, this position is responsible for operating extruders and mix machinery as noted below from both our Processing Plant and Feed Mill, located just North of Regina.

Responsibilities:

Work in a safe manner at all times and complete jobs following Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Mix product according to formula.
Processing grain in accordance with SOP's and HACCP, CFIA and OH&S requirements.
Monitor and operate extruders and processing equipment in accordance to company SOPs and OH&S standards).
Notify supervisor of required repairs to equipment.
Follow company quality assurance measures and report any non-conformances to a supervisor.
Maintain both electronic and physical records.
Cleanliness and minor maintenance of facilities, yard, vehicles and equipment.
Load and unload trucks including grain trailers.
Ability to work in all weather conditions (some outside work).
Shift work is required (with pay differential).  Weekend and overtime may be required.
Must not be allergic to grain dust. PPE is required and available to all employees.
Valid Class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation to all shifts.

Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout a shift and climb to heights of up to 100ft occasionally.
