Skills Canada Saskatchewan Executive Director

Skills Canada Saskatchewan is a charitable organization that promotes and engages Saskatchewan youth in skilled trades and technology careers.
    Manage the task management and performance of staff members.
    Work closely with the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and all other volunteer Committees.
    Regular communication and reporting of all financial budgets and business operations to the Board of Directors to ensure organizational alignment with the strategic plan.
    Ensure financial solvency of the organization, through strategic and responsible planning.
    Seek monetary and/or in-kind funding acquisition from new and existing funding partners.
    Serve as liaison to allied organizations and stakeholders including inter-provincial and national stakeholders and maintain active membership in the national operations committee.
    Manage the day-to-day operations including ongoing programming, outreach initiatives, social media, and website updates.
    Plan and execute all annual in-person (Skills Competition) and virtual events.
    Efficient and effective financial planning, accountability, and reporting in accordance with applicable laws, agreements, and principals.
    Act as the public spokesperson for the organization and ensure congruent branding and effective marketing presence are achieved and maintained.
    Create systems, procedures, and policies that increase efficiency and optimization of organizational operations.
    Ensure the organization complies with all local, provincial, national and board of director policies and by-laws.
