Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of ER/ICU/Respiratory, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the emergency department.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Supports (PALS) is preferred. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is preferred. It we be desireable if you possess a knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques involved in performing nursing services relating to the care of patients in an emergency and ICU department. This knowledge is commonly obtained through previous experience in emergency and critical care nursing.
Successful candidates external to SHA are responsible to obtain and provide an original Criminal Record Check (CRC) & Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) from their local police service, RCMP or previous country/countries of residence that is dated within the past six (6) months that is satisfactory to the Saskatchewan Health Authority

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, Nights, Weekends
149.36 hours per 4 week rotation: 12 shifts of 11.78 hours, 1 shift of 8.00 hours
