Description

The Ministry of Education provides leadership and direction to Saskatchewans education, early years, library and literacy sectors. The Provincial Library and Literacy Office, Ministry of Education is seeking a highly skilled, energetic and well-organized administrative professional to join us as Executive Coordinator. This position also provides support to the Programs Branch, Ministry of Education. The successful candidate will be a contributing member to a collaborative and high-performing team.

As part of the branch management team, you will provide overall administrative management to the branch and supervise two administrative staff. You will practice innovation, developing and implementing team-based procedures and systems to optimize office efficiency. You will provide advice to branch staff on government processes and will ensure standards for quality and timeliness are met. You will provide senior administrative support to two Executive Directors.

Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through:
  -> A combination of formal education in business or office administration, combined with work experience in a similar role;
  -> Experience using a variety of computer software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
  -> Experience independently leading a project or managing a program; and, (if applicable)
  -> Experience supervising, mentoring and mentoring staff. (if applicable)
