Description

eHealth Saskatchewans Programs & Technology Divisions is seeking a highly skilled executive to help fulfil its mandate of delivering IT services provincially for the Saskatchewan health system and ensure alignment to the governments growth plan.  Reporting to the Vice President of Programs & Technology, this position provides leadership and oversight to employees within the newly created Architecture, Standards, and Planning branch. This position directs the work of teams across the province to ensure the services they provide fit with the overall strategic direction of eHealth and meet or exceed business requirements. The Executive Director of Architecture, Standards, and Planning & Chief Architect provides leadership for resources for the Architecture services including the Architecture review board, Enterprise, Business, and Cloud Architecture, Information Technology Strategy & Planning, and the development of enterprise standards.  

You will participate as a member of the Senior leadership team in establishing annual unit operational plans, setting priorities on an ongoing basis and ensuring collaborative working relationships are maintained.

You will stay ahead of technology trends, explore opportunities as they arise and work collaboratively with the architecture team to model client solutions that fit into and complement eHealth's strategic goals, as well as our client service philosophy. Provide leadership to the portfolio through defining roles and responsibilities, developing and adjusting annual work plans as a team and individually, and providing day-to-day direction to unit managers, clarifying roles with other units and allocating resources to respond to changing priorities.
