Responsibilities
Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone slabs or other stone products to required shape or design and to produce smooth finish.
Print sandblast stencils generated from renderings approved by customers and attach them to blank headstones ordered by the customer.
Operate portable sandblasting equipment to cut inscriptions or decorative designs in stone monuments.
Finish stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing on granite foundation bases
Making porcelain photos provided for the deceased person.
Transfer design files to and operate diamond etching machines to make memorials markers.
Apply gold leaves to monuments and memorial stones
Perform 3D decorative design carving according to diagrams and patterns on headstone surface for custom made stones with electric carving tools.
Qualification
Be able to identify different types of granite and be familiar with the natural features of each kind.
Have profound knowledge about sandblasting, diamond etching, gold leaves and porcelain photo making.
At least one year on job training and five years experience in granite products manufacturing.
Ability to adapt to a fast pacing environment and handling multiple priorities.

- Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish
- Operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions
