Description

Ronald McDonald House Charities SK (RMHC-SK), is a provincial organization that promotes Family Centered Care, and provides accommodation and supports to families of sick children while they are receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.  
The Facility and Maintenance Coordinator reports to the Family Service and Programs Manager, and plays a vital part in providing safe, comfortable, and energy efficient accommodations, They are responsible for all aspects of mechanical and property management and care for RMHC-SK, as well as for leading environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities Include:
    Identify, analyze and deliver maintenance and repairs to all aspects of the House including, but not limited to: construction, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, security, outside facility and property maintenance, etc.
    Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors and maintenance service personnel
    Oversee and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
    Ensure quality control and identify policies and procedures aimed at improving overall maintenance
    Assist in preparation of the annual operations budget
    Lead the House Services (Housekeeping) Team
Job Requirements Include:
    Strong understanding of facility maintenance and management
    Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
    Proven leadership success
    Strong communication skills
    Experience leading volunteers
    Organizational skills, attention to details, and setting priorities
    Work with integrity with the understanding of the importance of confidentiality
    Class 5 drivers license  some travel will be required
    Strong computer skills
    Able to lift up to 30 pounds and capable of moving furniture/appliances
Work Hours: Primarily daytime hours Monday-Friday but flexibility will be required on occasion.
