Position Summary
This position is responsible for licensing issuance, investigation, enforcement and collection of fees for all licence programs. Responsibilities include licence issuance and follow up, interpretation of the Licensing Bylaw, Vehicle for Hire Bylaws, Regina Animal Bylaw, Short Term Accommodation Bylaw, Body Rub Establishment Licensing Bylaw, statutes and other regulations as well as collection of delinquent licence fees, enforcement activities for non-compliance and various office duties. This position reports to the Licensing Coordinator.
Education & Experience

Typically, the knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position are obtained through completion of Grade twelve (12) supplemented by introductory courses in public administration, business administration, public relations and/or enforcement, combined with three (3) years experience in an enforcement environment, licence issuance or the collection of delinquent accounts. Experience interpreting bylaws, statutes and/or policies, procedures and regulations is required.
