CLSI is now accepting applications to fill a term position for a Financial Analyst position within our Finance department. The Financial Analyst is responsible for performing accounting, technical and administrative functions in support of the Corporate Controller role, including maintenance of financial records, systems and reporting. This is a six-month term position with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and entering month-end, quarter-end and year-end accruals
- Preparing monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Coordinating month-end and year-end cut-off schedule
- Preparing monthly GST and PST returns
- Preparing annual WCB, T4A and T4A-NR returns
- Preparing and submitting the exception pay uploads for semi-monthly payroll
- Providing subject matter expert and functional back-up for accounts payable/purchasing, accounts receivable and timesheets/time reporting.
- Ensuring PCI compliance
- Performing monthly audit of payroll changes and ensuring payroll compliance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
- Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Three or more years of relevant experience is required
- Proficient computer skills
- Able to work independently with limited direct supervision
- Commitment to deadlines and attention to detail
- Well-developed problem solving, organizational and analytical skills
- Demonstrated time management skills to meet deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
