Director, Procurement Services:
This new position is a result of the re-organization of eHealth Saskatchewans Corporate Services Division to fulfil its mandate of delivering high quality, and timely services provincially for the Saskatchewan health system. Reporting to the Vice-President, this position provides leadership and direction to employees within the Procurement department and assists the work of teams across the province to ensure the services provided fit with the overall strategic direction of eHealth and meets or exceeds business requirements. The Director, Procurement Services provides leadership to a small dedicated team, and is viewed as a Subject Matter Expert for eHealth Saskatchewan, and for the provincial partners we support by providing expertise to guide strategic procurement such as RFPs, RFRs, RFSQs, contract renewals, sole sourcing, and purchasing that is alignment with the trade agreements.

Typically, completion of a University degree with a major in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field and/or the completion of the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) designations. In addition to educational requirements, the successful candidate will have several years of relevant experience leading procurement teams along with sourcing, purchasing, or supply management, with a focus on strategic sourcing.
