Potzus Ltd is one of Saskatchewans largest construction companies. Established in 1966 we are a second generation family owned and operated business. Day to day operations include excavation, earth moving, site development, aggregate production, and paving.
We are currently looking for a Geological Technician.
You will:
-interpret data from collection of field testing, and apply geological training and experience to assess aggregate sources throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
-Travel throughout Saskatchewan searching for aggregate and assessing potential sources for quality and quantity to support our gravel crushing and highway paving projects.
-Meet with landowners and stakeholders.
-Operate some heavy equipment and mobile drill to complete test holes.
-Log and collect samples.
You need:
- geological based education or training
-Valid drivers license.
-Past experience sourcing aggregate or a geological background.
-Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and time management skills are a must.
-Be able to work outdoors, long hours, and travel throughout Saskatchewan.
-Past heavy equipment operating and mechanical experience is a benefit.
-Responsibility for yourself and others in a safety conscious environment.
-Proven history of strong attention to detail.
