Potzus Ltd is one of Saskatchewans largest construction companies. Established in 1966 we are a second generation family owned and operated business. Day to day operations include excavation, earth moving, site development, aggregate production, and paving.
We are currently looking for an Geological Technician
You will:
-Assess geological date for sourcing aggregate deposits used for road construction and asphalt production.
-collect geological field data used to find aggregate deposits.
Travel throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba searching for aggregate and assessing potential sources for quality and quantity to support our gravel crushing and highway paving projects.
-Meet with landowners and stakeholders.
-Operate some heavy equipment and mobile drill to complete test holes.
-Log and collect samples.
You need:
-Valid drivers license.
-Past experience sourcing aggregate or a geological background.
-Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and time management skills are a must.
-Be able to work outdoors, long hours, and travel throughout Saskatchewan.
-Past heavy equipment operating and mechanical experience.
-Responsibility for yourself and others in a safety conscious environment.
-Proven history of strong attention to detail.
