Description

The Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport's mission is to enhance economic growth and support quality of life by managing the provincial parks system and providing recreation, sport, heritage and cultural opportunities for residents and visitors. The Ministry is currently seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual who is a flexible team player for the position of Park Administrative Representative for Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park. Reporting to the Park Administrative Supervisor, this position will be involved in administrative park operations.

You will perform a variety of office administration duties with the primary responsibility of reconciling park revenue and accounting for saleable items. The Park Administrative Representative will also help to supervise the Campground Entry Office, providing accurate and timely information to the public and troubleshooting issues.

You will have knowledge of math and accounting principles and office/administrative procedures, protocols and equipment including computer systems.

The successful candidate will have the experience and ability to respond accurately and courteously to inquiries; calm upset customers and respond to their concerns or complaints; operate office equipment such as computers, printers, fax machines, answering machines and interac cash systems; and prepare daily deposits. You will be reliable and trustworthy, with the ability to work alone.

This position will be required to work some weekends and may be required to work shift hours and/or be on call. A current and valid drivers license is required.
