Facility: BATTLEFORDS MENTAL HEALTH CENTRE
Job Description: The Pact Team (Police & Crisis Team) is a collaborative partnership between Mental Health & Addictions Services SHA and Municipal Police Services/RCMP. The goals of the project are to enhance public safety and care for individuals, families and households with mental health issues through the most effective assessment, triage and intervention beginning at the point of contact in the community. Under the direction of a Program Manager and as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Assessor Coordinator Sr. - PACT Team works as part of a Police & Crisis Team. The Assessor Co-ordinator provides a complex range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to an adult community mental health and/or forensic population. The incumbent provides program consultation and co-ordination, evaluation of clinical interventions, supervision, preceptor students in formal clinical practicum, and provides professional and public education regarding mental health issues and resources. As a senior practitioner, acts as a resource for other professionals for mental health in the community.
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.

Required Qualifications:
Recognized Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing, Degree in Social Work or another Health or Human Services field acceptable to the Employer.
Must have current practicing registration with appropriate professional association (SRNA, RPNAS, SASW, or other applicable professional association).
