Description

Seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic/General Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and repairs to a wide variety of heavy equipment (Deere, CAT, Komatsu), semi trucks and trailers, other small engine equipment.

Work duties will be mainly performed in the shop located in Weyburn. Some travel will be required to various job sites during the construction season, for required repairs on equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs
- Preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines
- Determine what parts and tools are necessary for repairs
- Complete maintenance/repairs records
- Maintain a clean and safe work area

Skills/Qualifications/Requirements:
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- 5 years experience with diesel/heavy equipment and truck repair
- Heavy Equipment Mechanic License (preferred, but not required)
- Welding (not required but considered an asset)
- Valid Drivers License
