Our Company is looking to hire a Janitorial Area Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations at multiply client locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning commercial spaces as well as experience managing a team of cleaners.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and should share our Company's commitment to customer satisfaction.
In order to be considered as a candidate you will need to be extremely motivated, a pleasing personality with strong communication skills and speak English extremely well.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee both individual and teams of
cleaners at various onsite client locations.
- Build relationships with clients.
- Evaluate, coordinate, and assign cleaning tasks based
on need and skill level.
- Inspect all work performed to ensure it meets company
standards and client expectations.
- Act as primary onsite point-of-contact for cleaners
for any questions or concerns they may have.
- Respond promptly to any customer inquiries and take
action as soon as possible.
- Ensure proper inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Recruit, hire and train any new employees re-train
existing staff if necessary.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years experience as a manager ideally
within the same industry.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay
ahead of repetitive, ongoing tasks.
- Proven track record mentoring and training employees.
- Willingness to engage in hands-on work when short
staffed or behind schedule.
- Must be in Canada a minimum of 5 years and be able to
obtain Government Clearance.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday.
- Evening and weekends as required.
Experience:
- Cleaning experience of at least 3 years (preferred)
