RIVERBEND COOP is in need of Meat Cutter Helper
NOC Code: 65102

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude
2. Be dependable for all scheduled shifts
3. Provide outstanding customer service
4. Ensure proper meat preparation (ex. Cutting and trim standards, traying, wrapping and pricing and also preparation of sausage, hamburger patties and other in store made product) is to meat department standards
5. Ensure that the fresh case, smoked case, and all spot and island merchandisers are filled and merchandised to Meat Department standards
6. Be responsible for the receiving, inspecting, and storage of merchandise
7. Adhere to association policies and procedures relating to the maintenance, sanitation and safety of all association assets
8. Be familiar with and adhere to, Riverbend Co-op policies and procedures
9. Complete all assigned training with an open mind
10. Fulfill all duties following all safety measures including safe work procedures and any/all legislated Safety Rules
11. Perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
1. Basic knowledge of meat, beef, and pork
2. Basic knowledge and understanding of meat processing
3. Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and equipment
4. Must be capable of supervising specific areas of the business in a fast-paced environment
5. Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices
6. Must be ServSafe certifiable
7. Highly organized and detail oriented
8. Comfortable standing for entire shift and able to lift 50 pounds
9. Exhibit good manners, proper personal hygiene, and promptness
10. Have fun and maintain a positive attitude at all times!

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift between the business hours of 06:00am- 10:00pm, Sunday to Saturday with two varied days off per week
