The Director of Family Wellness will work closely with the Executive Director of Operations and provide updated reports of the Family Wellness Department. The Director of Family Wellness will be responsible for all development, implementation, and oversight of programming that supports the Ochapowace citizens.
Core Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the department.
Develop and implement programming based on community needs assessments and evidence-based research.
Identify and provide mandatory skills training to staff.
Advocate and liaise for Ochapowace citizens.
Engage with community ktyak to develop Prevention and Family Wellness programs.
Deescalate high emotional situations with staff and community members as it arises.
Other related duties as requested by the Executive Director of Operations.
Administrative Responsibilities
Prepare annual budgets, all reporting requirements, and performance evaluations of the Department.
Collaborate and partner with provincial and federal bodies to improve and enhance Prevention and Family Wellness programming.
Provide community presentations to Ochapowace citizens.
Create a system for inventory of Family Wellness resources, property, and equipment.
Develop and maintain a complaints process, adhering to legal requirements
