As one of the primary brand ambassadors at Gateway Co-operative, the role is instrumental to the customer service relationship and the enhancement of the overall customers shopping experience.
- Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly and courteous service.
- Greet customers as they enter and leave the food store.
- Ensure display cases are properly filled and presentable.
- Assist with receiving products.
- Perform clean up duties throughout shift.
- Any other duties needed to help to drive Gateway Co-ops vision and abide by our Co-operative's values of responsibility, respect and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Currently completing a high school diploma
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, people and customer service skills.
- Must be able to multi-task in a very fast paced environment and have capability to work independently.
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal expertise and energetic personality.
- Physically able to do heavy lifting of 22 kgs (50 lbs), climbing, kneeling.
- Willing to work all shifts scheduled including weekends, after school, and school vacation periods.
