Reporting to the Director of Service Assurance, the Manager of ITOC will provide leadership to a team of professionals and technical team responsible for managing and defining eHs ITOC framework and principals. Proactively 24X7X365 monitor and manage eHs technology services allowing eHealths technical teams to proactively begin remediation and troubleshooting efforts in a timely fashion, with the ultimate goal of zero work impact within the Saskatchewan health system.
Our candidate of choice will have a proven track record at providing strong leadership to ensure that services provided fit with the overall strategic direction of eHealth Saskatchewan; demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and IT service suppliers; anticipate new service requirements and opportunities. The successful person will have a strong IT knowledge and proven ability to manage change in a complex business and stakeholder environment.
Knowledge and Education
Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, other related equivalent, or related professional designation and certifications from an accredited institution. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Relevant leadership experience technology monitoring tools and methodologies;
Relevant leadership experience in reporting and measuring SLAs and KPIs for services.
Ability to work effectively with colleagues, managers, suppliers and stakeholders. Understands the importance of developing effective partnership relationships with key suppliers;
Ability to monitor processes, identify gaps, document and implement process improvements;
