Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced machine shop production manager to lead our team of skilled machinists and technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and organizing the production schedule, coordinating the use of machines and equipment, and ensuring that all production meets quality standards. You will also be responsible for training and supervising team members, managing budgets and controlling costs, and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machine shop operations, excellent leadership skills, and a track record of improving production processes. Responsibilities:

Plan and organize the production schedule to meet customer demands and deadlines
Coordinate the use of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure optimal utilization
Monitor the production process and identify opportunities for improvement
Train and supervise machine shop personnel
Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Ensure that production meets quality standards
Manage budgets and control costs
Troubleshoot production issues and find solutions
Work with sales and customer service to meet customer needs
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and efficiency
Monitor and report on production metrics, such as output, yield, and scrap rate


In addition to a competitive salary, this role offers the opportunity to earn an EBITDA-based incentive. This incentive will be tied to the company's EBITDA performance and will provide the opportunity for high-performing candidates to earn additional compensation based on their contribution to the company's financial success.
