Aspen Paramedic Services, (formerly Canora Ambulance Care) has exciting opportunities for both ACP and PCP full time, casual and part time positions for both
Canora and Preeceville locations.
In the paramedic positions, your main responsibility will be to provide efficient and competent emergency and non-emergency medical assistance and treatment to a
wide range of people. APS offers both BLS and ALS coverage to our service areas with an annual call volume of approximately 1500.
On a daily basis, some of your specific responsibilities will include:
-Ensuring prompt, efficient and skilled care and treatment for all patients
-Maintaining the ambulance units and medical kits, ensuring they are clean, functional, adequately stocked, easily accessible, and completion of all appropriate reports.
-Attend community events as requested and represent APS in a positive and professional manner in our communities.
Successful applicants will possess:
Current licensure with SCoP and all pertinent certificates
Highly developed clinical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional communicating skills
Ability to maintain harmonious relationships within our communities and amongst staff
