Following orientation and training the successful applicant will ensure that the residence is operated in a safe manner, supervising the delivery of services, responding to emergencies, attending team meetings, and performing other management responsibilities including working within budget means, assisting with staff schedules, etc.
We encourage those who wish to advance their knowledge in client supports and gain management experience to apply. Wage is based on education, qualification, and experience. Compensation package is reviewed and applied following performance evaluations at 6 months and one year.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates professionalism and works co-operatively within a team and has the following qualifications
1.Completion of diploma or certificate in human services or equivalent experience.
2.Able to work effectively as a team leader, member, and independently. Displays professionalism and leadership aptitude.
3.Experience or willing ability to coordinate, evaluate, and facilitate Person Centered Plans, positive behavioral supports, etc. within a team approach
4.Flexibility, mature judgement, openness, and honesty in interpersonal relationships, proven self starter.
5.Excellent communication skills.
6.Must possess imagination, patience and tact.
7.Willing ability to operate various computer programs.
8.Must have a positive attitude, be proactive and have competent problem-solving skills.
9.Must have a valid Drivers License, Standard First Aide, CPR, Safe Food Handler.
