As scheduled/required. Minimum call in of 3 hours/shift up to a maximum of 37.5 hours per week. Daytime hours only. Monday to Saturday. All clinic sites.
To provide pharmaceutical care services to clinic and non-clinic clients.
Directs, guides, and evaluates pharmacy technicians, assistants, and/or students as required.
In collaboration with the physician, provide prescriptions and medication counselling and drug education as part of the interdisciplinary team with a strong emphasis on health promotion and disease management.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
Registration with Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP).
Registration with Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan (PAS).
Must be bondable.
Insurance malpractice insurance.
Must have knowledge of and capability with the philosophy and policies of CHSA.
Good oral and communication skills.
Previous experience preferred.
Able to work independently as well as work as a team member.
Able to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills and professional attitude.
