Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise pre-sale and post-sale.
-Develop relationships with new and existing customers. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
-Obtain orders through email and telephone calls, verify and enter items, transfer orders to fulfillment, explain stock-outs and expected delivery dates.
-Prepare, generate, and follow up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders, or determine reason for loss of order.
-Develop and execute sales strategy through market analysis. Identify ways for continuous improvement of processes.
-Maintain distribution system backorder report, associated customer expediting report and notices, and customer notification.
-Report industry trends, competitive pricing and customer feedback to management.
-Deliver, set up, and update display racks, sample boards, etcetera as needed for clients. In Addition, be able to provide excellent product knowledge or training to clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
-High School Diploma or higher education
-1+ years of sales experience
-Valid Driver's License is required
-Be able to lift 50 pounds (loading sample rack and marketing materials)
-Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with solid organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
-Analytical thinking, math skills, strong memory, and excellent attention to detail
-Bonus!!! Experience in distribution sales and flooring industry
Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
-Strong computer skills with the ability to effectively use various office-based software (Proficiency in G-suite, Microsoft Office)
