Description

Responsibilities:  
-Actively manage the intervals for preventative maintenance scheduling of all light, medium and heavy-duty mobile equipment, and all major fixed equipment
-Review and process all completed work orders transferring handwritten details into SAP
-Provide support in the planning and purchasing of mobile equipment
-Coordinate efforts with purchasing and logistics personnel to secure goods and services on site in accordance with machine availability requirements
-Initialize new inventory on site for new equipment purchases, and update material inventory levels for existing equipment as required
-Plan and budget equipment maintenance repair/rebuild schedules
-Provide the support in the development of equipment decommissioning strategies
-Periodic review and updating of work instructions
-Review daily material movement reports
-Maintain equipment condition monitoring program (oil samples), review/interpret results to monitor and anticipate potential component failures
-Manage equipment warranty claims, monitor the status of the claims and review warranty settlements to ensure funds are appropriately applied
-Document and maintain equipment repair history
-Prepare monthly department KPI reporting
-Maintain the plumber PM schedule

Skills and Qualifications:
-Journeyperson Heavy Duty/Industrial Mechanic, Mechanical Technician/Technologist or equivalent experience/training
-5+ years of industrial maintenance planning experience
-SAP experience considered an asset, particularly in Preventative Maintenance module
-Strong administrative skills and maintenance aptitude
-Excellent communication skills and good work ethic is essential
-Highly proficient with using Microsoft Excel
-Able to manage competing priorities
-Highly organized with an emphasis for detail
