As we look to grow our team of experts for this brand new venture, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Project Superintendent. This position will be site based, and the headquarters office is located in Regina, SK. Youll be joining a team of recognized industry experts on work thats critical to our clients and our communities.
Job Title: Project Superintendent
Reports To: General Manager
Job Summary: As Project Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all Operational elements of Heavy Civil Construction, Water and Sewer Construction, Road and Highway Maintenance, and Other Miscellaneous Earth moving projects in Saskatchewan, working in collaboration with the Project Manager to deliver high quality projects on time and on budget.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Direct day to day tasks for crews which may include but be limited to crew movements, daily operations, traffic, trucking and procurement on highway maintenance/repair projects. This may include initial mobilization and set up of construction sites, scheduling and allocating personnel, equipment and materials.
Manages and coordinates the daily and weekly activities of foremen, crew members and equipment as per the project plan schedule in an efficient manner. Sets performance and schedule goals and provide coaching and training as required.
Provide timely administration, planning and communications/reporting to the Project Manager.
Monitor and ensure safety and quality standards are met and adhered to in accordance with company policy, quality documentation and legislative requirements
