Act as a hotel ambassador to all guests and prospective clients
Act as MOD when required
Assist clients with booking hotel rooms, meeting space, food & beverage service, and any other needs they may have to ensure utmost satisfaction
Respond to sales inquiries and qualify leads
Initiate new sales through prospecting, to include making presentations, developing contracts, negotiating and closing sales
Solicit potential clients through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication
Conduct site visits and answer any questions the client may have
Determine rates and prepare proposals
Negotiate contracts
Develop sales plans and strategies to exceed established revenue and room night goals
Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel
Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure all client needs are met
Manage account details with proper documentation
Prepare information for, meet with and entertain clients as deemed appropriate
Correspond with customers tactfully
Prepare internal booking reports and maintain files
Participate in daily business review meeting, pre-convention meetings, trainings and other sales related meetings
Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings
Other duties as assigned
