You will be assisting under a certified journeyman to learn the skills you need to become a certified plumber and gas fitter. Duties include assisting with plumbing & heating equipment installations and repairs. Plumbing rough in, water piping, drain cleaning, gas line and gas equipment installation, operation of tools and equipment, job site set up and clean up. As you gain experience you will start to complete some duties independently or with limited supervision. Usual work week 40/hrs, may vary slightly with construction peaks and lows.
