Meadow Lake And Area Early Childhood Services                

The Executive Director is responsible for overall management of Meadow Lake and Area Early Childhood Services. This includes Playcorner Early Learning Center, Early Childhood Intervention Program, Specialized Support Program, and Regional KidsFirst Program. The ED provides general oversight of all staff, programs, and finances and builds and maintains constructive working relationships with the families it serves, community partners and funding organizations. The ED is responsible to the Board of Directors and reports to the Board through the Board Chairperson.       

Qualifications:

    Education or background in business, finance, or related office management experience
    Education or background related to Early Childhood Education or Human Services Field would be considered an asset
    Ability to develop, implement and monitor annual budgets, and meet grant requirements within a non-profit setting.
    Management, supervision and administration knowledge and experience
    Ability to provide leadership, advice, and support to 20 staff within four programs
    Knowledge and ability to work collaboratively with volunteer Board of Directors
    Use of a reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license

    Must be a self-starter and have the ability to multi-task and work independently
    Ability to maintain a consistent work schedule and performance level.

    Ability to positively represent the agency and its programs to families, the team, and the community.
