The SAMRT is seeking a professional, self-motivated candidate with solid decision-making skills for the Manager Communications and Competency Assurance role. Reporting to the ED/ Registrar, this position is responsible for implementation of strategies and policies relating to member communications and continuing competency to ensure SAMRT performs effectively to protect the public.
The successful candidate will ensure SAMRT continues to meet its mandate for public protection by:
Managing relationships with the membership and stakeholders;
Preparing communications which may include meeting minutes, newsletters, and annual reports;
Overseeing the management of the Continuing Education Program including the annual member audit, and the jurisprudence program;
Managing the website including updating materials;
Contributing to the planning of and arrangements for SAMRT events.
This is a part-time (15hrs/week) permanent position and requires daytime availability as well as occasional evenings and weekends.Flexibility is provided in the scheduling of the hours across the week.The work location is hybrid with 50% at home and 50% at the Regina, SK office.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
Post-Secondary Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience;
. Experience in a formal/informal leadership role;
Strong oral and written communication,
Strong computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe) and database systems
Familiarity with legislation, regulations, and board governance an asset
Must be Canadian Resident in Sask.
