We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manger.
Responsibilities:
-Subordinate to the store manager responsible for leading and evaluating overall operation of the store
-Participate in the recruitment and training of new staff, and development of existing staff
-Design and carry out sales promotions and other initiatives to boost sales
-Ensure staff deliver high-quality customer service and respond to customer issues
-Manage daily staffing levels and assignments
-Monitor sales trends and performance in our store and competitors to ensure we are competitive in the marketplace
-Participate in ongoing budgeting process, forecasting revenue and expenses and reconciling with actual performance over time
-Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
Qualifications:
-High-school diploma and Post-secondary degree or diploma required
-Minimum 2 years experience in a retail management role required
-Minimum 2 years experience in food retailing required
-Additional management experience in retail or other settings (5+ years) would be an asset
