Key Relationships: Reports to NDH Board of Directors Executive Committee in partnership with Artistic Managing Director (AMD)
Position Summary
Responsible for the financial, and administrative operations of NDH.
Duties:
Finance and bookkeeping including, general ledger, monthly reconciliations, quarterly financial reporting and budgeting of projects and programming.
Partners with the AMD to secure funding and revenues for NDH including grant writing, budgeting, management and reporting of all grants and revenue sources.
Writing, management and payment of all contractual agreements.
Project based and operational budgets including year to date quarterly reporting.
Prepare materials for annual audit.
Ensure all grant and funding requirements, reporting is maintained and completed in a timely and orderly manner.
Ensures compliance by staff and contractors to internal financial controls.
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships and collaborative arrangements with community groups, artists, and other organizations to help achieve the goals of NDH.
Qualifications
Non-profit financial, administration and operations experience an asset.
Proven experience in finance and bookkeeping.
Team player demonstrated ability to work with variety of stakeholder groups.
Previous funding or grant writing is an asset.
Requirements:
Must be Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident and be residing in Canada.
