The Communications and Digital Marketing Manager will have the exciting opportunity to work across all areas of YWCA Reginas Development Department and the entire organization in this dynamic role. This position will allow you to gain experience and make an impact in Annual Fundraising, Marketing, Stewardship, Events, Social Media, and YWCAs Capital Campaign. This role will also largely responsible for media relations/communications, and social media management. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Development, the Digital Marketing and Communications Manager will provide support and help to execute varied functions across these departments while managing media relations and social media.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in related positions such as marketing, communications, journalism, graphic design, or in fundraising
Compelling communicator, applying excellent written and oral communication skills to synthesize complex information into strong written communication
Innovative and passionate, out-of-the-box thinker willing to go the extra mile to achieve the highest-possible results to represent the organization
Able to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
Ability to maintain composure when managing multiple conflicting priorities for multiple stakeholders
Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and analytical abilities
Proactive in anticipating needs, identifying potential problems and adept at mitigating risk
Exhibits sound judgment and the ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction
Works from a feminist, anti-oppressive / anti-racist perspective
Experience in Adobe Suite, Canva, and Wordpress, and some knowledge of graphic design would be an asset but is not a requirement
