Job Description: The Executive Secretary is accountable for providing confidential administrative support, and for maintaining and promoting an efficient office environment, to assist members of Practitioner Staff Affairs - South East in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.

The successful incumbent will provide administrative support to the PSA team in the areas of Recruitment & Retention, Privileges & Credentialing, Orientation, Onboarding and Settlement, Contracts, and Payments. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

Coordinating meetings, interviews, job postings, temporary student and physician accommodations, physician IT access, locum requests
Meeting notes
Managing the PSA-SE email inbox
Posting and updating Specialist Rotations
Filing, maintenance and tracking of data and files
Distribution of communications
Developing and maintaining administrative forms, templates, work standards
Other as required
Required Qualifications

Office Education certificate
Grade 12
Experience
Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years related experience in progressively more responsible positions.  
Health-related experience and/or working in a health care setting would be an asset.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Excellent organizational abilities
Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
Typing speed of 65 accurate words per minute
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
High level of competency
Must be proficient in all computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation applications
