Camecos exploration department utilizes the highest quality geoscientific data visualization, interrogation, interpretation, and technical innovation in its search for the next world-class deposit.

As a member of the corporate exploration department, you will be responsible to support the evaluation, consultation, design, implementation and maintenance of exploration spatial data repositories and software.  This position is responsible for supporting the installation, configuration, maintenance and training of the exploration spatial systems and business processes. You will also be responsible for providing efficient and standardized data access and/or visualization to stakeholders through exploration software platforms. This position also guides and recommends innovative and efficient work processes to support business objectives within area of specialization/function, and provides specialized software and hardware support to the exploration group as needed.

Requirements of the position:
- Bachelors degree in Natural Sciences or Computer Science
- Five to eight years of applicable work experience in geospatial and geoscience environments, database management and programming, managing client/server software solutions and implementing and carrying out quality control processes.
- Experienced user of ESRI products (ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro/ArcSDE/Portal for ArcGIS)
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Assets:
- Experience working with SQL databases and/or Safe Software FME
- Proficiency in Python or ArcPy
- Experience with Machine Learning / AI
- Familiarity with Seequent Target, Imago and DAP Data Management
- Strong understanding of general computer software and hardware
