Legacy Co-op is hiring a Full  Time Agro Centre Manager to lead and support the Team at the Yorkton Agro Centre in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.What youll do:
Reporting to the Agro Division Manager, the Agro Centre Manager is responsible for planning and day to day execution, providing leadership, appropriate utilization of funds, direction and oversight to Yorkton Agro Centre operations to meet budgeted goals, long  term focus plans and objectives.
Working collaboratively with the Management and HR team, the Agro Manager is responsible for staff recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management, sales, margins, expenses, inventory procurement and customer contact.
You will provide dynamic, exemplary leadership to team leaders and team members in projecting a positive, professional attitude in delivering great customer service.
You will be responsible for the completion and follow through of all safety and environmental policies and procedures and ensure complete adherence to standards and culture of safety.
You will provide leadership and support regarding performance management responsibilities to team leaders and team members.You are looking for a career in Retail and Agro industry and:
Must have Grade 12 certificate. Post-secondary education from a recognized Institution in post-secondary education from a recognized institution in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Management or Business Administration or a related field would be an asset.
Must have knowledge in Agro and Hardware products and sales and marketing with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience or minimum of. 2 years of experience in Management in any industry. Prior work experience in a similar and unionized environment would be an asset.
Must maintain Class 5 Drivers licence throughout employment.  
Must have the business acumen skills with an ability to control operational costs, maximize operational efficiency and improve sales and growth margin.
