Facility: REGIONAL OFFICE (WEYBURN)
Job Description: Under the direction of the Director Staff Services, the Scheduling Manager is responsible for providing leadership to senior and staff scheduler that work in the Scheduling Office or satellite offices.  The Manager provides knowledge and expertise in the scheduling and timekeeping duties performed by the scheduling staff and participates in the development and implementation of scheduling processes, policies and procedures.  The Manager provides guidance, coaching and problem solving assistance to staff.
Required Qualifications

A Degree or Diploma in Human Resources management or equivalent combination of training and experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Valid drivers license
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with many individuals and groups including staff, students, unions and the general public
In depth knowledge of principles of collective bargaining agreement application and interpretation, and related provincial legislation
Computer skills in such programs as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Sound knowledge of financial management process; computer literate
Must possess strong conflict resolution skills to diffuse situations with staff, clients and/or their family members/support people
Knowledge of current scheduling and collective bargaining agreement practices
Other Information

Access to a reliable vehicle as travel is required
SHA and unions continue to work through scope discussions. There is potential some positions currently OOS may transition inscope in the future however it is unknown
