Vertex is currently accepting applications for one full-time, permanent Trucking Operations Manager for Alida, SK location. The successful candidate must have experience managing Trucking and Fluid Hauling Services and demonstrate excellent human resource, safety, and financial skills. Candidate must have strong proven leadership skills, be detailed oriented, have excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced team environment. CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum five (5) or more years management experience in Trucking, NGL and Fluid Hauling and/or Oil & Gas Services industry with proven leadership abilities
Previous P&L responsibility $20M
Experience with having 3-5 direct reports
Effective management skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes
Proven knowledge and operational skills in the Trucking Industry more specifically on fluid management
Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles.
Holds a clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization
Strong financial acumen to understand and interpret financial statements
Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Maintains a high level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability
Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
Maintains a well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills

LOCATION

This position will be located out of our Alida, SK office.
