Description

RIWC Regina Immigrant Women Centre is an immigrant settlement agency dedicated to integrating newcomer women and their families. If you have experience as a human resources administrator/advisor and working with volunteers, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position reports to the Manager of Human Resources

DUTIES
Manage the resources and volunteer files and databases;
Assist in the recruitment process for employees/volunteers
Prepare hiring documents and orientate new employees/volunteers
Accurately administer time and attendance processes and procedures
Coordinate the administration of benefits
Update/create policies and procedures for RIWC
Interpret and administer labour legislation and RIWC policies
Prepare reports and spreadsheets for funders
Supervise the Assistant who assists in administration
Plan, develop, implement and evaluate the Volunteer Program
Orient, train, motivate, schedule and connect volunteers with Newcomers according to their needs
Communicate with volunteers on a regular basis
Promote the Volunteer Program amongst a diverse network of community partners
Plan and oversee recognition events

QUALIFICATIONS
Post secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field
1-3 years relevant work experience in Canada
Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of Google Docs
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships
Ability to self-motivate and function with minimum supervision in a multi-faced environment
Function efficiently and effectively under very strict deadlines
Provide a clear criminal record check
