Our Regina office is seeking a Disbursement and Accounts Payable professional to join our team for a 16-months Term.
The Disbursement and Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing daily entries to client files and assisting accounts payable. This in-office position will work together with other members of the finance team in our Regina and Winnipeg offices. The position requires regular communication with internal customers (including lawyers, paralegals and legal assistants) to ensure the accuracy of data entry.
Responsibilities include:
Reviewing and processing daily manual cost entries to client files
Reviewing and processing uploaded cost entries to client files
Determining applicable cost codes
Research related to cost entries
Reviewing and processing daily cheque requests, vendor invoices and expense reimbursements
Understanding and applying the firm expense policy
Qualifications include:
Ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional manner
Strong organizational, administrative and data entry skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Working knowledge of an accounting information system an asset
Experience in a professional services firm an asset
