The City of Weyburn is a dynamic and progressive community located in the heart of Southeast Saskatchewan. The City of Weyburn is currently accepting applications for temporary full-time employment as a Recreation Worker with primary focus being the operations and maintenance of Jubilee Park and Don Mitchell Park for the upcoming summer season.

Responsibilities:
    Performing landscape maintenance to parks, sports fields, courts and other outdoor leisure services facilities and equipment;
    Employees will be able (or trained) to operate parks related equipment such as riding mower, push mowers, trimming tools and other various equipment as required;
    Employees must be able to deal politely and effectively with fellow staff and the general public;
    Some evening and weekend work required to assist local facility user groups during special events / sporting events; and
    Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
    Hold a valid Class 5 Drivers license.

    Job Status  Full time (Seasonal)
    Term  Approx. 16 weeks. Starting in May 2023
    Wage  Starting wage commensurate with CUPE Local 90 agreement.
