The ideal candidate we are looking for will have 1-3 years automotive experience and be looking to make a slight career change from road going vehicles to water going vessels. Many of the boats you will be working on run GM LS/LT series engines and Ford Raptor V8 engines, so experience with these is preferred. A normal day would have you performing basic inspections, services, diagnosing boats and making repairs as necessary for our customers in order to keep them on the water enjoying their boats at the lake during the summer months. During the winter months you would be kept busy with lots of off-season boat repairs, accessory installs, warranty work, and performance, stereo, and lighting upgrades for our customers, as well as performing delivery inspections and playing a role in the preparation of new boats arriving from our manufacturers over the winter months to have them ready for sale come spring. You will receive your daily tasks from our Service Advisors and work alongside our service expeditor who will stage and prep your machines for you beforehand. After your workorder is complete you will hand off the unit to our detailers for cleaning and detail and any other appearance work that needs to be completed. Being handy with a laptop, organized, a team player, and excellent communicator will be a definite asset for the position.
