George Gordon Education Centre requires a Full-Time (1.00 FTE) temporary Cree Language Teacher to commence as soon as possible and conclude on June 29, 2023.
Grade K-8school with approximately 211 students and 13.00 FTE dedicated professional staff
Located in a supportive community with an active student body
Enjoys a solid academic and extra-curricular program.
George Gordon First Nation is situated near Punnichy, it has a modern medical clinic, an education centre, a computer centre, an arena and day care. George Gordon First Nation is located 100 km north of Regina.

Saskatchewan Education Act, 1995
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education Degree
Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional 'A' Teaching Certificate
Demonstrates written and oral proficiency in the Cree language
Knowledge of Cree Culture, Indigenous Culture, and the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action
Successful teaching experience in Elementary and/or High School
Advanced communications skills, both written and verbal, exceptional project coordination, time management and organizational skills
Should have excellent instructional pedagogy, including the ability to deliver in-class instructional lessons in multiple schools
Class 5 Drivers License
Extensive knowledge and use of technology related to communications, instruction, presentations, and data management.
