Description

Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority is seeking applications for the position of a
Kindergarten Teacher at Father Megret Elementary School located at the Hatchet Lake, SK.

Immediate Supervisor  Principal

The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for instructing students in an elementary school by creating lesson plans, administering praise and constructive criticism, instructing students on subjects such as science, literature, and math. The teacher is to create a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program.

Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree, a teaching certificate or credential or equivalent professional experience which would translate to successful classroom teaching.  Advanced degree preferred but not required.
    A recognized post-secondary Diploma as a Kindergarten Teacher or equivalent post-secondary education in a related area from a recognized institution would be an asset.
    Proficiency in the use of computers such as word processing, excel and database systems.
    Related training or experience in the field of education would be a definite asset.
