Leading a group of engineers, the successful candidate will ensure excellence in mechanical and electrical design across multiple projects and oversee the introduction of new ambulances, vehicles, and subsystem designs under the Crestline brand in Canada and the USA.

Responsibilities
Establish robust engineering standards to validate product design.
Plan, resource, and execute new product developments.
Establish appropriate KPIs and an NPD project reporting schedule.
Lead a prototype program to validate the readiness of sales, supply chain, manufacturing, and customer care for volume production.
Accountable for the creation and maintenance of the Engineering Product Platform architecture
Promote best-in-class engineering through engagement with industry and trade associations, national and global standards institutes, academic institutes, and federal and provincial engineering development programs.
With the CPE Manager, forecast, budget, and prioritize departmental resources and equipment; identify and address constraints to deliverables.
forecast and budget for resources to meet NPD requirements, optimizing in-house, corporate, and offshore engineering capacity; Manage third-party design services
Accountability for budget, employee retention and satisfaction (eNPS), succession planning, setting and maintaining departmental standards and processes
